All Roads Lead Back to Foundations

Six webinars on the skills and qualities every nosework dog needs, from a balanced behavior chain to clear training to the “secret sauce” behind great searching.

When something isn’t working, the answer is almost always “go back to foundations.” But what ARE the foundations, exactly… and how do you use them to figure out what’s going wrong?

This collection gives you the framework (the Foundations and the Fabulous Four), the critical skills every nosework dog needs, and how to keep the Hunt to Find to Alert behavior chain in balance (because most training issues start with an imbalance). It finishes with two of my favorite training tools: splitting skills for clarity and the Single Hide Search.

What’s inside (over 12½ hours of recordings):

  • All Roads Lead Back to Foundations
  • The Secret Sauce: Key Critical Skills for the Nosework Dog
  • The Fabulous Four: Essential Qualities for Successful Searching
  • Balancing the Behavior Chain: Hunt to Find to Alert
  • The Power of Clarity: Splitting Skills in Scent Work
  • The Power of the Single Hide Search

Perfect for: newer teams who want to build it right the first time, and experienced teams who feel stuck and want to find the missing piece.
