The natural forces that drive air and odor movement, simplified

Highlight #2

Use scent theory to set better hides and interpret your dog

Highlight #3

Setup examples showing pressure and temperature effects on odor

About the webinar

If you aren't using scent theory every time you search with your dog, you're missing a huge amount of insight. If you're overwhelmed by the science and feel a little helpless, you're in a completely normal situation! This webinar simplifies the concepts so you can understand how the forces of nature affect air and odor movement. Understanding the natural forces driving air movement helps you set better hides, interpret your dog, and assess a blind search in the moment. Scent theory is driven by fluid flow dynamics and thermodynamics. Stacy teaches you the important pieces without having you go glassy-eyed over the Gas Laws. Expect setup examples of hides that demonstrate pressure and temperature effects on odor.  Did you know that she has a degree in Chemical Engineering?  Stacy often jokes that it's actually a degree in scent theory.  Join her in a discussion to make air flow seem SIMPLE. Includes a downloadable handout with a summary, checklist, training log and more, so the key scent theory concepts are handy when you're setting hides or running a blind search.
