Find the arousal state that beats distractions without losing thinking

Highlight #2

The connection points in a search where arousal makes or breaks it

Highlight #3

For high natural arousal dogs AND dogs who need a boost

About the webinar

If you want a focused search, your dog needs to be in an optimal arousal state: high enough to overcome distractions, but not so high that they can’t think. It also means adjusting arousal based on the task and the dog’s fluency. Yeah, we cover that. Theory is great, and we cover a little of that too. More importantly, we talk about the connection points in a search where your dog’s arousal state can make or break the search, and how to affect them. You’ll also learn how your dog’s arousal state is conditioned so you can shape performance with good training. This webinar covers both high natural arousal dogs and dogs that need a little “boost.” Includes a downloadable handout with a summary, checklist, training log and more, so you can map your dog’s arousal at each point of the search and track what works.
